Threshold Monitoring with Configurable Alerts
The new version introduces a comprehensive threshold-monitoring feature that empowers network administrators to stay ahead of potential issues. The system enables precise definition of traffic conditions using versatile filter criteria, combined with violation parameters that trigger when values exceed, fall below, or move within specified ranges. Sophisticated triggering logic supports immediate alerts, flapping detection with configurable breach counts, or sustained breach monitoring over defined time windows – all with adjustable recovery delays. When thresholds are crossed, automated notifications are dispatched through multiple channels, including Slack, Email, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, and PagerDuty.

We’re pleased to announce the release of Noction Flow Analyzer v26.01, delivering an extensive set of improvements designed to strengthen network monitoring capabilities, streamline user access control, and improve overall platform performance. This release brings threshold monitoring, expanded authentication options, and numerous interface improvements that make network traffic analysis more efficient.

Enhanced Performance Through Database Optimization
Performance improvements are at the core of this release, with NFA v26.01 implementing a new ClickHouse block-building approach that significantly enhances data processing efficiency. Complementing this architectural improvement, we’ve upgraded the underlying ClickHouse database engine to version 25.3, bringing the latest stability enhancements and performance optimizations to your flow data storage and retrieval operations.
Improved User Management and Directory Integration
User management capabilities have been enhanced with new enable/disable account controls, improved session handling mechanisms, and clearer status visibility throughout the interface. The user management panel now supports pagination for large user lists, sortable columns for organizing accounts by various attributes, deletion confirmations to prevent accidental removals, and context-sensitive tooltips that provide detailed configuration guidance.
Additional Improvements
This release includes several other refinements to enhance daily workflow efficiency:
- Data Explorer Enhancements: Column sorting capability for more flexible data analysis and navigation
- SNMP Interface Search: Expanded narrow-by search to support filtering by both interface ID and description
- Advanced Chart Options: Greater visualization flexibility with new chart configuration features
- Page Styling Updates: Improved changelog and license page designs for better readability and usability
- Notification Integration: Extended Microsoft Teams notification URL support to 1024 characters
- Device Monitoring: Implemented counters for devices organized by location and flow export status
- Security Dialogues: Enhanced expired session and force password change notifications for better user experience
- API Standardization: API key name length standardized to 64 characters for platform consistency
