A Journey from Intern to Front-End Developer

Welcome to Noction! We offer a unique internship experience that transforms academic knowledge into professional skills, preparing you for future employment.

What sets our program apart? We keep our groups small, typically hosting only 1 to 3 interns. This ensures a personalized and immersive learning environment where mentors can provide dedicated time and attention to each intern.

But that’s not all. At Noction, every intern has the opportunity to secure a job offer upon successful completion of the program. This demonstrates our commitment to investing in your future, fostering your growth, and guiding you toward success in the tech industry.

In 2023, we successfully ran three internship programs: Quality Assurance, Front-End Development with Vue.js, and Front-End Development with React.js.

Now, let’s hear from Cristian, a graduate of last year’s Front-End Development internship. He’s eager to share his inspiring journey from intern to full-time front-end developer, showcasing the incredible learning opportunities and achievements that await you here.

What’s cool about working at Noction?

What I love most about Noction is how it sparks creativity. It’s not just about generating ideas; it’s about feeling like your ideas really count, regardless of your position or how long you’ve been with the company.

Moreover, there’s a constant stream of new knowledge to acquire here, so I never feel like I’m stuck doing the same old thing. This dynamic environment keeps things lively and every day brings something new to the table.

Can you describe the “Noction experience” in three words, capturing the essence of what makes it unique for interns?

Supportive, Innovative, Growth-oriented.

Imagine meeting yourself on the first day of the internship. What advice would you give to the past you, knowing what you know now about the Noction experience?

Thinking back to my first day at Noction, I totally remember feeling way out of my comfort zone. But you know what? That’s how the magic of progress happens. Once I started embracing the challenges, asking questions, and getting guidance from my mentor and experienced colleagues, things started falling into place.

So, if I could go back, I’d say to my past self, “”Hey, it’s totally fine to feel a bit overwhelmed at the beginning. Don’t be afraid to tackle challenges head-on, keep that curiosity alive, and embrace the journey of growth and development.

In what way has Noction supported you with your personal and professional development?

Noction’s internship program was the perfect launchpad, providing invaluable opportunities to grow. The support I’ve had along the way has become a game-changer for me. With mentorship, constant feedback, and diving into some really tough projects, I’ve expanded my skills and grown both professionally and personally.

What achievements or milestones in your first year as a frontend developer are you most proud of?

Reflecting on my first year as a frontend developer, one of my proudest achievements has been consistently meeting and exceeding sprint goals. Whether it’s ensuring websites run smoothly or collaborating effectively with colleagues, I’ve approached challenges with unwavering commitment.

Furthermore, I’ve been eager for feedback, refining my technical skills, and absorbing insights from experienced developers. It’s not solely about task completion; it’s about fostering both personal and professional growth.

What are your next plans for your professional development?

My internship experience, particularly developing a module for the Vue framework, ignited my drive to improve. Right now, my main focus is on upgrading my coding skills to excel in the field and help the team to beat our competitors on the project.

Specifically, I intend to sharpen my Rust skills and increase my contributions to the Vue community.

Do you have any advice for present or future interns at Noction?

During my internship at Noction, I’ve discovered the significance of curiosity, proactivity, and networking. Beyond gaining invaluable experience, I had the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with like-minded individuals, and learn a lot from them.

My advice to current and future interns at Noction is simple: dedicate yourself to learning, seize every opportunity to engage with your peers, and make the most out of your time here. It’s totally worth it!

A massive thank you to Cristian for sharing your experience and insights! Your journey inspires us and we are proud to see your growth!
