Noction is pleased to announce the release of the Intelligent Routing Platform 3.5. The new product version offers new types of policies based on Flowspec. IRP 3.5 allows you to set and manage FlowSpec rules based on source or destination prefix and port. The platform relays these policies to the capable routers of your choice. You can use the already familiar policy management interface in IRP to manage FlowSpec policies. Watch this short presentation for a better understanding.
Another major feature available in IRP 3.5 is Cascading Deny Policy. This allows for more granular control over the well-known IRP’s Deny policy. Now you can use it to stop traffic flowing through a path that transits a specific AS that you would like to avoid as per your established routing policies.
