NFA (Open Beta) v 20.08 with support for Ubuntu and prefix filtering option is Now Available!

We’ve just released the Noction Flow Analyzer v 20.08 with several improvements and some cool new features to help take the IP flow analysis process to the next level. Although the focus of this update was to improve the software’s performance and provide support for Ubuntu, users will notice a few new additions as well.

Support for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

We recognize the need to have flexibility regarding the choice of platforms and operating systems. That is why we’ve now added support for another popular Linux distribution. Besides support for CentOS, Noction Flow Analyzer can now be installed on servers running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Prefix and IP range filtering options

There’s now an option in NFA’s Data Explorer, Dashboards, Alerts, and the BGP section to filter results by a specific prefix, a group of prefixes, or ip ranges.

Click the “+ > Add condition” option and select either the Source or Destination ip filter. Like with the individual IP addresses, administrators can input as many IP address ranges and/or prefixes as needed.

The full changelog with all the new features, improvements, and bug fixes is available upon request.

Note that NFA is still in Free Open Beta. If you are interested in trying the shiny new version, please register here.
