Introducing NFA v23.12, equipped with advanced Application Name Identification capability
Application Name Identification
The release incorporates IANA-sourced dictionaries for application name identification at the L2, L3, and L4 levels. The identification is based on RFC6759 for PANA prefixed classification engines. This ensures that your network flows are accurately classified, providing a more granular and precise understanding of the applications in use on your network.
The filtering, grouping, and order by options for application names have been added to NFA’s Data Explorer section, as well as the Sankey Diagram.
