Noction Releases Free IRP Lite v4.2.9 with GMI, Threat Mitigation, and Expanded OS Support

We’re pleased to announce the release of Noction IRP Lite v4.2.9, a new version of our free-to-use platform designed to bring intelligent routing technology to more networks. This update introduces several major features previously available only in the full IRP, alongside a host of additional improvements and bug fixes.

Global Management Interface Comes to IRP Lite

The new release of IRP Lite v4.2.9 brings the powerful Global Management Interface (GMI) to Lite users for the first time. Previously available only in the full IRP version, GMI now provides Lite deployments with a more centralized and efficient way to view, control, and manage their optimization environment.

Threat Mitigation – Now Built In

The new release also introduces Threat Mitigation to IRP Lite. While limited to three configurable rules, this feature enables users to detect and respond to potential threats such as DDoS attacks. It’s a valuable safeguard for smaller networks looking to improve resilience without additional complexity.

Wider OS Deployment Support

IRP Lite v4.2.9 brings expanded deployment flexibility with support for the latest operating systems, including RHEL 8/9, Rocky 9, Ubuntu 22/24, and Debian 12. This ensures smooth integration with modern environments and gives users more choice in tailoring deployments to their infrastructure.
